You and your team mates can reward your quiz-winning brains with some proper time out, enjoying the scenery on one of Britain’s most beautiful rivers. The River Wye from Glasbury is ideal for a relaxed paddle with only a few Grade 1-2 small rapids. Tremendous views of the Black Mountains and Hay Bluff can be seen to the South with 'Kilvert' Country and Clyro to the North.
The 11 mile day trip will take you downstream through Hay-on-Wye famous for its second-hand bookshops and a great stop for lunch. Then on through the beautiful scenery, enjoying the riverbank wildlife until you reach Whitney on Wye where you and your boats will be picked up and bought back to the River Café to enjoy a well-earned bottle of Ark Ale.
